The Fairytale Maker is an innovative learning resource for preschool (0 to 5 grade), specially designed for the classroom of the future. In the Fairytale Maker, the teacher can facilitate a learning process where the students meet relevant academic learning goals while developing their 21st century skills (creativity, collaboration, critical thinking and communication).
The Fairytale Maker consists of 3 integrated learning areas:
- Fairytales: Selected classic fairytales of H.C. Andersen, Brothers Grimm etc. The stories are told by internationally renowned actors in several languages with amazing illustrations and sounds. With a unique character recording function, the students can individually and in collaboration produce their own versions the the fairytales supleted by the actors voices.
- Workshop: Here the students produce multimodal fairytales with all visual and auditory material from the classic adventures in combination with their own drawings, photos, sounds and music. The workshop supports integration of files from eg. Garageband.
- Teacher Dashboard: From the dashboard the teacher can create, differentiate and assign exercises directly to the students iPads. In realtime the teachers can monitor the students progression, answers and fairytale productions.
